You do not need to be staying at Tribal Dunes to book a table. Lunch under the trees, sundowners at the bar, or dinner once the lamps come on — the doors fold all the way back and the room opens onto the garden.
The Kitchen
An open kitchen, a real fire
The pass is open to the room, so the cooking is part of the evening rather than hidden behind a door. Seafood and grill lead the menu, built on what the Kilifi boats and the local growers bring in.

Craft cocktails, coastal hours
A proper bar, mixing to order, with a shelf worth reading and a terrace built around the sunset. Come for a drink without eating — that is a perfectly good reason to be here.
The Team
The quiet art of looking after you
Our team is of this coast — most of them from within a few kilometres of the beach they work on — and they bring an unhurried, genuinely warm kind of care to the room. Nothing is rushed and nothing is scripted. They learn how you take your coffee, remember the wine you liked, and notice what you need before you have to ask for it. That attentiveness, more than anything on the menu, is what brings people back.
